The medications offered through Refaurm are prescription-only and available only after evaluation by a licensed provider. They are not appropriate for everyone. Tell your provider about all of your medical conditions, allergies, and the medications and supplements you take. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies and are not FDA-approved; the FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
GLP-1 medications (semaglutide, tirzepatide). In animal studies these medicines caused thyroid C-cell tumors; it is not known whether they cause thyroid tumors, including medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), in people. Do not use if you or a family member has had MTC or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Serious side effects can include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney problems, and low blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulfonylureas). Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain. Seek care for severe or persistent abdominal pain.
Men's health medications (sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil, and combination formulas). Do not take with nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) or guanylate cyclase stimulators — the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Use caution with alpha-blockers and blood-pressure medicines. Seek immediate care for an erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism) or for sudden loss of vision or hearing. These medications do not protect against sexually transmitted infections.
NAD+ therapy. Generally well tolerated; some people notice temporary flushing, warmth, or lightheadedness around dosing. Available by prescription only, following provider review.
